Stove4U – Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Payment
The Customer agrees to pay for all time, quotations, repairs, and any associated charges as outlined in this Agreement.
Accounts not settled by the due date may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.
If an overdue account is referred to a collection agency or legal firm, the Customer will be liable for all recovery costs, including commissions and legal fees, as if the debt were collected in full.
2. Equipment Return or Delivery
The Customer must collect or arrange delivery of the equipment within 72 hours of notification by Stove4U staff.
3. Custody
The Customer is responsible for full payment and timely collection of the appliance.
Failure to pay, collect, or arrange delivery within 72 hours of notification may result in forfeiture of the appliance, at the sole discretion of Stove4U.
4. Warranty
Stove4U provides a 6-month warranty on parts and labour for repairs performed.
This warranty applies only to the specific work carried out.
If the appliance fails within the warranty period, Stove4U will inspect it in a timely manner.
Repairs unrelated to the original work will be charged accordingly.
Warranty service is limited to the Wellington Region or must be brought to our workshop by the Customer.
5. Assignment
This Agreement and its associated rights may not be transferred or assigned by the Customer to any third party.
6. Default
The Customer will be considered in default and Stove4U may claim possession of the appliance if:
• Payment, collection, or delivery is not completed within 72 hours of notification (via phone, text, or email).
• The Customer breaches any terms of this Agreement.
• The Customer becomes insolvent or bankrupt.
• Any charges related to the appliance remain unpaid.
7. Inspection and Repair
The Customer authorises Stove4U to inspect, quote, and repair the appliance as required, and agrees to pay for all time, parts, and labour incurred.
8. Liability
• Stove4U is not liable for any consequential losses resulting from appliance failure or breach of this Agreement.
• The Customer agrees to indemnify Stove4U against any claims or losses arising from the use of the appliance by the Customer or others.
• While all care is taken, Stove4U accepts no responsibility for the appliance while in our possession.
